SHORT-EARED OWL

SKOR - SATELLITE TELEMETRY 2007

17 October 2007 - Skor's new (temporary) home is currently teeming with other bird life, most notably
large flocks of Sandhill Cranes and various ducks, geese, grebes, and coots.  The mixed flock of Snow and
Greater White-fronted Geese shown above numbered over 1000 individuals in total, and was photographed
a bit to the northwest, but it is likely they are using the Last Mountain Lake National Wildlife Area too.
