MRF's research on northern raptors focuses primarily on two owls breeding in the northern boreal forest (Great Gray Owl and Northern Hawk Owl), and two raptors that nest above the treeline (Snowy Owl and Rough-legged Hawk). Research on the movements of all these species is relatively limited, but we hope that over time, comparisons between these two pairs of species may also prove interesting.
