2004 - Here is the landscape which greets visitors upon their arrival in
Polar Bear Provincial Park - 12 kilometres of flat tundra stretching north
to the coast of Hudson Bay. The sign in the foreground stands on a
raised ridge roughly 9 metres above sea level; most of the land beyond is
